Strawberry shortcake

One of our favorite aspects of heritage building is food...we love to be in the kitchen together! 😋

This strawberry shortcake uses a cream scone recipe from The Joy of Cooking that is easy to put together and uses just 5 ingredients.

After the cream scones are made, we slice up strawberries with a spoonful of sugar mixed in and whip up some heavy cream to top it off.
